Marquees, Graveyards and Premature Superstars.

Let me introduce you to my home-sewn ball dress!

  I am so proud of this baby! I was still stitching at 11am on the day of my leavers ball, and was in a mad panic because I thought I'd have to fish out something vintage, that was my grans, that didn't fit quite right, but I got it done! My inspiration... was literally changed completely when I found the skirt fabric! I knew  I wanted a blue dress, but I was going to do a short shift, with a bit of tie-dye. However, the simple maxi-pattern I used was easy to follow, and the sparkly blue marbled skirt was PERFECT! Hope you like it, would be nice to know what you guys think (aka fishing for comments right here, right now)

How much nail paint do you need?

I think we all looked beaut.

Alice and I found a graveyard at the ball, which was pretty sweet :) It was an absolutely beautiful night, the marquee looked beautiful and the Abbey was delightful, and the fireworks were so classy. I didn't even know you could get classy fireworks, but you CAN! 

The only dissapointment was that people weren't really mingling, but I suppose people have got to a point where they know who they don't like so its pretty fair play.
